Founders Carmel and Bob Mooney are the parents of a special needs child. They and their family of five children, have first-hand knowledge of the many blessings that come with a trained Autism Service Dog. They have an insider’s perspective to the highly specific needs of the family, child, educators and support system of a child with ASD.
For nearly a decade, Founder and Executive Director, Carmel Mooney has been an Autism consultant, parent advocate, and has authored countless articles and books on Autism. She has experience in ABA therapy and service dog training.
Carmel’s graduate degrees in Psychology are an added asset. She is a former special education teacher and fitness instructor for disabled individuals. For several years, Carmel also served as Administrator for a private school serving special needs children. In the 1980′s and 1990′s, Carmel ran a successful massage therapy practice specializing in disabled and injured clients.
Carmel has published over 1100 articles in the areas of health, medicine, vaccine injury, autism, nutrition, parenting, dogs, dog travel, and family issues in national magazines and newspapers. She is also a radio talk show host for the last 17 years. She conducts seminars around the country and has kept her audiences in current information for the past 12 years.

Bob Mooney is Co-Founder and Director of Training, Placement, and Fund Raising. As a parent of a special needs child, Bob has a heart for the unique challenges that these special families face.
Our Kennel Master and Director of Breeding is Caleb Anderson. Caleb Anderson has been breeding and training working dogs for over 15 years including Search and Rescue, Cadaver and Scent Detection, Diabetic Alert, Autism, Therapy, and Competition Field Dogs.

Pawsitive Service Dog Solution’s Vice-President and Head Trainer is Suzy McMinn. Suzy is a dog trainer with over 36 years of experience. Suzy has a BS in Animal Sciences. Suzy has made it her life mission to help create a better world for animals and humans while working to inspire, empower, and educate through better knowledge, interaction, and love. As a disabled individual, Suzy is the proud owner of a service dog, Peppermint Patty.
Kaitlyn Joseph is Director of Puppy Raising and our Puppy Raiser Club Leader. Kaitlyn has raised 15 Guide Dog Puppies and was a Guide Dog Puppy Club leader for five years. She has also volunteered for Dogs4Diabetics. She is majoring in Psychology. In her spare time, Kaitlyn has also shown dogs in AKC Obedience and Dock Diving.
